HuntingZone is a real-life multiplayer GPS game where players interact on a live map using their location.

Location Data
- Your device location is used during gameplay
- Location is only processed to enable core game features (map, pings, catching, zones)
Gameplay Data
- Movement data (distance, activity during matches)
- Game-related interactions (lobbies, actions)
Device Data
- Device type, OS, IP address
- App usage data (for stability and debugging)
- Device identifiers (IDFA) — only with your explicit consent via the App Tracking Transparency prompt, used for ad personalization
How We Use Your Data
We use your data to:
- Provide and run the game
- Enable real-time gameplay features
- Improve performance and fix bugs
- Ensure fair gameplay
- Prevent abuse and fraud
- Show interstitial ads to free users (via Google AdMob)
We do NOT sell your data.
Location Data Usage
Location data is essential for the app to function.
We only use your location:
- During active gameplay sessions
- To show positions, pings, and zones on the map
Background Location
Your location is also accessed in the background during an active game session to keep tracking alive when the app is minimized. This only occurs while a game is running and stops as soon as the session ends.
We do NOT track your location outside of gameplay.
You can disable location permissions at any time in your device settings.
Legal Basis (GDPR)
We process your data based on:
- Consent — e.g. location access, ad tracking (ATT)
- Contract — providing the game service
